Hello from the Cubmaster
Jeff Lytle, a lifelong scouter, serves as the Cubmaster for Pack 37. His Scouting journey began at age 6 in Cub Scouts and culminated in him earning his Eagle Scout rank. Throughout his years as a Scout, he was fortunate to have many extraordinary experiences.
Married for 10 years, Jeff has three wonderful children. His oldest is a Wolf, and his youngest son is starting his first year as a Lion. Before becoming the Cubmaster for Pack 37, Jeff served as both a Den Leader and Assistant Cubmaster.
Hello from the Assistant Cubmaster
I’m Gerry Coone, and as the proud father of an Eagle Scout, I’ve been a volunteer with Scouting for about 20 years. It all started when my oldest of four grandsons joined Pack 37. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of serving as an Assistant Scoutmaster, Assistant Cubmaster, and Treasurer. I believe Scouting is more crucial than ever in our digital world. Kids need a compelling reason to step away from their screens and connect with the real world. It's truly a joy to see them fish, hike, and camp, all while learning valuable life skills and living out the Scout ideals.

TELL ME MORE ABOUT PACK 37

Q: How often do Cub Scouts meet?
A: We meet on Tuesdays at 6:30 pm. Typically, a month includes two or three Den meetings, one Go See It (field trip), and one Pack meeting.
Q: Who leads the Den meetings and what is an Adventure?
A: Den meetings are led by the Den Leader, an adult parent of a Scout(s) in the Den. Scouts must complete a set of Adventures to earn their rank which
include activities such as meeting with first responders, flag etiquette, preparing and performing a skit for the Pack, first aid, physical fitness, and MUCH
MORE! All volunteers must complete an online Youth Protection Training that lasts about an hour.
Q: My child is involved in sports or other activities. Can he still participate?
A: Absolutely! Cub Scouting is year-round. As the seasons change, so do schedules! Adventures can be completed at home as a family if needed!
Q: How much does it cost?
A: Pack 37 annual program fees are $305 for new scouts ($200 to Pack and $105 to BSA) and $280 ($200 to Pack and $80 to BSA) for returning scouts.
This includes: awards, Pack T-shirt, several camping trips, Pinewood Derby car kits, Raingutter Regatta boat kits, and other activities.
