Pack 37 Tiger Den (1st Grade)
The Tiger rank is for boys who are in first grade or are age 7. To earn the Tiger badge, a boy must complete six required adventures with their den or family and one elective adventure of their den or family’s choosing. As the boy completes each adventure, they will receive the adventure loop for that adventure, which they can wear on their belt. When the boy has completed the seven required adventures, they can receive the Tiger badge. The Tiger badge is given to the boy or girl’s adult partner at a pack meeting. Then, during a grand ceremony, the adult gives the badge to the boy.
After the boy has earned the Tiger badge, a Tiger Scout can work on the remaining 12 Tiger electives until he or she finishes first grade (or turns 8 years old). They can choose elective adventures that may show them new hobbies and teach them skills that will be useful during their Boy Scout years. When he or she completes an elective adventure, they receive an additional adventure loop to wear on their belt.

Favorite Camping Memory: When I was 12 years old, a group of us rafted down the Hudson River, fishing and floating by day, camping under the stars by night. It was my first true bare-bones trip: we caught trout for dinner and got by with minimal gear. That adventure is still one of my favorite memories, and it’s one my dad and I love to reminisce about. Experiences like that build special bonds with friends, family, and the outdoors.
Scouting Superpower: Freshwater fishing. If they’re out there, we’ll catch them.

Cub Scouts Tiger Rank Uniform
The Tiger Cub Scout uniform has the following parts:

Shirt: The official blue uniform shirt is available with long or short sleeves and has button-flap pockets.

Pants: Shorts, long pants, skorts, and roll up pants all are in official blue.

Belt: Official navy-blue web belt with metal buckle.

Socks: Official socks are available in three lengths: ankle, crew, and knee. Tiger socks have an orange band on the top.

Hat: Official blue hat with orange front and Tiger emblem.

Neckerchief: Orange triangular neckerchief with Tiger logo. Official BSA neckerchiefs are the only neckerchiefs that are part of the uniform.

Neckerchief slide: Official gold-tone metal slide with orange Tiger emblem. Cub Scouts may wear handmade neckerchief slides.
