At Pack 37, we focus on teaching our boys the most important core values of Scouting—building character, leadership, and lifelong skills guided by the Scout Oath and Scout Law. Frequently Asked Questions
How often do Cub Scouts meet?
We meet on Tuesdays at 6:30 pm. Typically, a month includes two or three Den meetings, one Go See It (field trip), and one Pack meeting.
Who leads the Den meetings and what is an Adventure?
Den meetings are led by the Den Leader, an adult parent of a Scout(s) in the Den. Scouts must complete a set of Adventures to earn their rank which include activities such as meeting with first responders, flag etiquette, preparing and performing a skit for the Pack, first aid, physical fitness, and MUCHMORE! All volunteers must complete an online Youth Protection Training that lasts about an hour.
My child is involved in sports or other activities. Can he still participate?
Absolutely! Cub Scouting is year-round. As the seasons change, so do schedules! Adventures can be completed at home as a family if needed!
Does the Pack do any activities with all Scouts from all Dens?
Yes! Here are some events that Pack 37 is already planning for the next year (dates subject to change):
